Classic Philly Cheesesteak



Devault Flat or 3-D Break Apart Beef Sirloin Steak

1/4 sliced white onion

1/4 cup thinly sliced red and green bell pepper

Cheese sauce or sliced provolone cheese

1 Deli-style long roll

Ketchup or hot sauce, if desired




Heat griddle or grill pan over high heat.

Drizzle oil on cooking surface and sauté onions and bell peppers until the onions are browned. Season steak with salt and pepper to taste. Place on hot cooking surface. Cook for 45 to 60 seconds. Use spatula to separate and flip meat. Cook another 45 to 60 seconds.

Cut long roll, place a layer of cooked meat on the roll. Spoon cheese sauce (or apply a single layer of provolone slices on top of the meat just before removing from cooking surface). Top with sautéed onions and peppers.

Add ketchup or hot sauce (to taste).
